Salize offers customized care based on a resident’s level of need and dementia stage to help them feel at ease at their cognitive level. How Does the Salize Program Benefit Those Living with Dementia?
When you first walk into the Salize community, you’ll notice that it feels similar to the rest of the Avanti Living network: high ceilings, a lot of natural light, and nicely designed furniture and artistic touches that give it a boutique hotel feel. However, there are several small elements that go unnoticed. Programs, services, and care are all based on the latest research to create an optimal environment for those with dementia. activities that are interesting and engaging are just some of the ways that Salize benefits its residents.
What are the Services and Amenities Provided by Salize?
Salize provides a wide array of services and amenities for our residents. We offer 24-hour supervision and assistance with activities of daily living, as well as scheduled transportation for outings and appointments. Our community is also equipped with a beauty salon and spa. Meals are served three times a day in our restaurant-style dining room. Our programming includes opportunities for socialization, cognitive stimulation, physical activity, and
creative expression.
In addition to our top-notch programming, Salize features comfortable private suites with private bathrooms. Each suite is equipped with an emergency call system, so residents can feel safe and secure in their own space. Families can take comfort in knowing that their loved ones are being well-cared for in a beautiful and nurturing environment.
While our program is based on clinical research, treatments, and highly trained staff, Salize does not appear to be clinical. The medical aspects of the program are actually designed to go unnoticed by our residents. In fact, residents of Salize feel quite at ease, valued, and respected once they move into one of Avanti’s communities.
Salize is located within the beautifully constructed Avanti Living community, which has been expertly created by specialists in the assisted living sector. Members of Salize’s staff don’t wear medical scrubs or street clothing. Our community provides a continuum of care, which means that should a resident’s needs change, they can still receive the care they need within the same community.
